A New Look for Dave's Convention Bloggers
Dave Winer asked me to apply a new theme to his new convention site. He's lucky, because I was bored today and whipping up a template seemed like a good thing to do.Funny thing about this template was that Dave Shea's (mezzoblue) writings about texture seemed to haunt me a bit, so I dutifully added hints of texture here and there. I must admit that it adds a lot to the design.
The IE team Starts a Weblog
In a move that I hope leads to more openness, the Microsoft Internet Explorer team has started a new .Text powered weblog. At this point it's mainly a "rah rah we're so great" blog, but hopefully this will blossom into an opportunity for the public to make comments and suggestions.Top of the list for me would be tighter CSS support, and for them to completely embrace the PNG standard.
